Dear Dr. Teitelbaum: I've been tired for 5 years. Recently my alternative physician, Dr. Barry Elson (who is listed in your list of doctors) gave me the early antigen test for Epstein Barr and told me that I have an active Epstein Barr infection. He prescribed 3 things: Amantadine, monolauren, and ViraClear. I have seen no mention of Amantadine in your book From Fatigued to Fantastic or in this website and I was wondering what you thought of that antiviral drug. Also I was wondering if you think ViraClear might be of any use. Thanks very much for your answer!

Answer

The Monolaurin and Amantadine can be helpful. I am not familiar with the Vira Clear. L&B Dr T
