Why is soybean oil in the vitamin powder? Isn't that toxic?

Published: February 7, 2013

I love the vitamin powder however am extremely disappointed to find that it contains soybean oil. Soybeal oil is known to be toxic and 99% of all soy products come from GMO's. Why don't you use coconut oil, or simply no oil at all? I look forward to your response.

Answer

Good question. The good news is that there is an incredibly tiny amount present, simply used as a source of the choline. If you look at it, it is the last thing on the ingredients list meaning that there is almost none of it in the product. I am fairly certain also that Enzymatic Therapy is careful to make sure that it is not sourced from any GMO products. Using large amounts can cause problems, not any amount. So the tiny amounts in the powder is safe, and a good source for choline which helps with the brain function. Hope this is helpful. Love and blessings, Dr. T
