Free 5-Minute Screening for Brain Inflammation (Microglial Activation)

5-Minute Quiz

A free 5 minute online quiz called "Central Sensitization Inventory (CSI)" can screen for brain inflammation (called microglial activation) in those with chronic pain. Simply hit the “Begin” button on each of the first 2 pages you (can ignore the rest of what's on those 2 pages) and do the questionnaire. It will give the final score at the end. Easy as can be! To interpret it:

  • Mild: 30 to 39
  • Moderate: 40 to 49
  • Severe: 50 to 59
  • Extreme: 60 to 100

This is the same validated tool used by researchers. Much easier than a brain biopsy;-)

If high, Central Sensitization, which is caused by the brain inflammation (microglial activation) is present. This also contributes to the weight gain seen in CFS/fibromyalgia, as well as amplifying pain, fatigue, brain fog and sensitivities. Our next study, which we are currently designing, will be to reset this and other components causing weight gain—so people can finally lose the average 32 pounds of weight they gain from CFS/fibromyalgia. Stay tuned!
