A message from our friends at HoneyColony …

HoneyColony is a new website where 'the hives' decide what's healthy. After much hard work it is finally live (in Beta mode)! Created by investigative journalist and film director Maryam Henein ("Vanishing of the Bees"), HoneyColony is an online magazine and ecommerce site dedicated to uniting the growing number of people who've chosen to adopt healthy lifestyles. Though we're still working on the site design (and will be formally launching with original content very soon) we'd like to invite you to buzz on by now!

With a little help from leading health experts (including our beloved Dr. Jacob Teitelbaum) and top-notch journalists in the field, community wisdom determines what works and what doesn't. We want to empower members to share knowledge and create social change across all spectrums of health and sustainability.

Watch our short animated video. It'll explain HoneyColony to you in 75 seconds.

Scared Sleepless

Shakey went to a psychiatrist. "Doc," he said, "I've got trouble. Every time I get into bed, I think there's somebody under it. I get under the bed, I think there's somebody on top of it. Top, under, top, under. You gotta help me, I'm going crazy!"

"Let me take care of it," said the shrink. "Come to me three times a week, and I'll cure your fears."

"How much do you charge?"

"A hundred dollars per visit."

"I'll sleep on it," said Shakey.

Six months later the doctor met Shakey on the street. "Why didn't you ever come to see me again?" asked the psychiatrist.

"For a hundred bucks a visit? A bartender cured me for ten dollars."

"Is that so! How?"

"He told me to cut the legs off the bed!"
