I have followed your SHINE protocol and have seen significant improvement with my CFS/FMS. However, I have persistent scalp psoriasis. Could the psoriasis be triggered by my CFS/FMS, or are they in any way related? Do you have any suggestions for a natural remedy for an itchy scalp?

Answer

The psoriasis is a separate issue and not part of the CFS/FMS. If it is itchy, you want to be sure there is not also dandruff with the psoriasis (the dandruff can be treated with Selsun Blue, or the medication Diflucan 200 mg a day for 6 weeks (which is good for the CFS/FMS in most cases) or nizoral shampoo.
