How can I get rid of my constant dizziness and fatigue?

Dr. T,

I bought your book after having glandular fever for 3 months. I had it badly and couldn't move because of the fatigue. I got better for 2 months, and then in the summer it hit me again, and now I have had constant fatigue and dizziness for another 8 months straight. I have had all the blood tests and they all come back fine. I have seen a specialist about my ears and he was saying they are fine. The dizziness is really bad and it's destroying my life. It is there from the moment I wake to when I sleep. I would see you in a heartbeat, but I live in Australia.

Answer

We do phone consultation with people from around the world (as long as you have had an exam by your family physician and an ear/nose/throat physician at home).

You would want to address autonomic dysfunction (called POTS or Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) as well. Too complex to do by e-mail, but I’d be happy to consult.
