Is using your suggested supplements for nerve pain appropriate with medications?

I have moderate to severe burning nerve pain with associated numbness/tingling/paresthesias which extends from my buttock to my big toe. The doctors I've seen thus far can't find a cause and just call it "Sciatica of unknown origin". I take amytriptiline, gabapentin, and Tramadol and still have constant, albeit lower intensity, pain. Is this too much medication considering it doesn't give complete relief? Is using your suggested supplements for nerve pain appropriate with these medications? Thank you!

Answer

The supplements can be taken with the medications. Find a pain specialist familiar with Myofascial pain, or perhaps better yet a massage therapist who specializes in myofascial release, as there is a good chance there is a tight muscle contributing to your pain.
